FC Sheriff best player 2016 Josip Brezovec agreed to share impressions about his achievement. It should be mentioned that Croatian midfielder took the first place in the poll with 38.16% votes. Brezovec got the award in the presence of the whole team.
 
- Supporters chose you the best player of the previous year. How did you like this news?
I was very surprised and glad at this news. I want to say thank you to everyone who voted for me.
 
- What does this title mean for you?
It feels nice and I am of course proud of this achievement. At the same time the support of fans means I need to improve myself.

- How did you spend your vacation?
I spent it in Croatia. All this time I was with my family. I also did not forget about preparation for the second part of the season.

- How hard is it in the training process after vacation?
Every preparation period is hard. But it is normal for professionals. We need to prepare well for the championship to be ready to follow your goal. Everything is fine.

- How do you see this year, the second part of the championship?
I believe we should think only about ourselves and play in every match to 100%. If we win all other matches, then everything will be fine.

- What would you like to say to supporters who estimate your contribution to the team’s game?
I am grateful to them. It is important for us to feel their support. I want to invite them to come for the games. We feel they are close. We will thank you with our game for the support that you show.
