The national team of Burkina Faso passed the group stage of the final part of the Cup of African Nations. The tournament takes place in Gabon these days.
 
In the last group stage match Burkinabe won the national team of Guine-Bissau by the score 2:0. Previously they won two matches by the score 1:1.
 
FC Sheriff player Cyrille Bayala took part only in the last game for 59 minutes. He was on the bench in matches with Gabon and Cameroon.
 
Quarterfinal matches are played on January 28 and 29.
