The Extraordinary National Public Health Commission today adopted the data proposed by the FMF for the start of football competitions. We are talking about the Moldova Cup and the National Championship.

 

Thus, from June 21, 2020, the FMF can resume holding matches for the Moldavian Cup Orange, and from July 3, 2020 - the national championship.

 

“The resumption of football competitions in the Moldova Cup, season 2019–2020, from June 21–30, 2020 (semi-finals, home and away and the finals), as well as the start of the National Football Championship 2020–2021, Starting July 3, 2020, organized exclusively by the Football Federation of Moldova, in accordance with the measures to prevent and control the spread of COVID-19 infection and the provisions of the Instruction on measures to prevent infection of COVID-19 during football competitions, according to the Appendix, ”this is stated in CNESP Decision No. 16 of June 19, 2020.

 

Competitions will be organized exclusively in the open air, in accordance with the measures for the prevention and dissemination of COVID-19 and the instructions included in the protocol on holding football competitions.

 

Thus, the first match of FC Sheriff after a pause will be the semifinal of the Cup of Moldova against FC Petrocub. The match is scheduled for June 21 in Hincesti.
