Nevertheless, we controlled the ball quite well, created a few dangerous moments but unfortunately we did not score any goals. In the course of the first half we lost our forward player Traore. Besides this Epureanu was also forced to leave the field. If the losses did not affect defensive actions, then we lacked in ending of attacking actions. We lacked the person who could put a final period. But I think we spent the most part of the match well except for the last minutes when supporters made “Sheriff” go forward. There were a few dangerous corner kicks. Except for those moments I think we acted well on the defensive.

Before the match we said that we came to win. We played a qualitative game but it did not come to the result we would be satisfied with.

What claims can there be? The guys were strained to the limit. There are some individual claims but these are inner issues of the team. There were situations when we made mistakes and let the rival counterattack. In general everyone played well. The plan for the game was to put pressure on the defense of the rival and be open for the attack. But we did not realize everything we planned because “Sheriff” acted on the defensive very well and we did not have a chance to create many moments. Nevertheless, we had advantage on set pieces but there was no final kick.
What happened to Traore? Do you think it is a huge loss?
We did make a substitution till the last moment because there was one forced substitution already. Traore wears a band now, his shoulder is injured. We asked him to play the first half till the end. He told the coaches to make a substitution for him. After one of such requests we decided to substitute him. The examination will show what is wrong with his health.
How is Gadzhi Gadzhiyev’s health?
