The goalkeeper of FC “Sheriff” Zvonimir Mikulic has shared his thoughts about the reason for defeat in the first leg of the Champions League second qualifying round. Also, before the second leg with the champion of Macedonia, Zvonimir has left a message for our supporters.
 
 -Zvonimir, let’s start maybe from not the most pleasant question, and still, tell us about missed out ball in our goal.
-Player of Macedonian team stood and shielded me from seeing the ball. It was a good shot on a difficult pitch. Maybe, I could have reacted better, but to my regret I’ve not succeeded. Missed ball has become a good lesson for me, which I’ve learnt, and in upcoming match I’ll try to show reliability.
 
-What can you say about playing in rainy weather?
-It’s always difficult for goalkeepers on rainy days. Balls are faster and tougher to catch but you need to stay a professional and carry out your mission in any weather.

-What was the reason for defeat? Is team of Macedonia really strong or we’ve made individual mistakes again?
-There is not much to say, first half we didn’t play good. We picked up our pace in the second half, we had our chances, but we just didn’t score.

-Of what our opponent should beware in the second leg?
-We’ll show our true worth at our home stadium. Our aim is to go as far as possible in Champions League.

-What would you like to convey to fans and admirers of our team before the second leg with the champion of Macedonia?
-I would like to invite our supporters to come in great number and support us to a good result. Only Sheriff! Only Victory!
