Zvonimir Mikulic: Ready to do everything for the team
FC Sheriff new player, Croatian goalkeeper talked about his first expectations in the new club
- Zvonimir, please share your first impressions from the first days in the club.
- Everything is so well organized and people are reliable that players only need to focus on their performance on the pitch.
- Did you have time to get to know someone besides Croatian players?
- There wasn't much time first few days to get to know other players because of the technicalities but im sure ill get to know everybody.
- Why did you choose to be a goalkeeper?
- I didnt choose the goalkeeper life it chose me.
- Zoran Zekic, NK Osijek head coach, trained Sheriff. Did he share with you anything about Sheriff and championship of Moldova?
- Yes he told me that conditions are top notch and that there are difficulte matches here and no one is to be underestimated.
-You are going to play in the UEFA Champions League for the first time, what expectations do you have from the tournament?
- I have high hopes. It will be very competitive but with our quality and some luck we can make a good results.
- Are you ready to compete to play as a goalkeeper or you are ready to wait for your chance?
- Im prepared to do what the team needs me to do.
