Zvonimir Mikulic: Last score won't affect the second leg at all
FC Sheriff Croatian goalkeeper Zvonimir Mikulic told us about impressions of the away match of the 25th tour of the National Division with FC Dinamo-Auto and also about the forthcoming cup match with players of Nisporeni Speranta which will take place at the stadium of the suburb of Chisinau – Ghidighici, on October 31 at 13:00.
-Zvonimir, how did the match of the 25 tour with Dinamo-Auto turned to be for you?
-The match was difficult. We made a mark at the beginning of the match but soon remained in minority. It was necessary to bring the match to a victory and not to miss a ball. I think we managed with this task. We proved as congruous collective as a result achieved the necessary result.
-You substituted Nicolae Chebotari who got a red card. How difficult is it for goalkeepers to play in to the game from the substitutes’ bench? Considering also that you played the last match in the championship at the beginning of September.
-It isn't difficult at all. We prepare so that we could play in to the game at any minute and implement your task. I played a lot of matches that’s why I know how to act in such cases and what my team expects of me.
-Our team played the whole second half in minority. What came forward? Character?
-Yes, certainly, my partners showed character and necessary qualities in this situation. It was important to keep calm and concentration up to a final whistle of the referee.
-The second leg of the quarterfinal of the Cup of Moldova with FC Speranta is ahead. What are your expectations for this match?
- I expect to win, we always play on a victory and another match with Nisporeni team is not an exception.
-The first leg finished to our advantage – 3:0. How do you think this score will affect somehow the second leg?
-Last score won’t affect the second leg at all. We are the best team and have to show it, without looking on last result.
