Zvonimir, we congratulate you on the Champions title! What does a winner feel?
First, I would like to thank all Sheriff’s supporters that have been following us through all the games. We are so glad to play in such atmosphere. It’s a great feeling to win a championship and I’m really happy for myself and the team. We put hard work for this and I’m glad it’s paid off.
What was the game against our main opponent FC Milsami like in the fight for the Championship trophy?
We knew it was going to be a hard game. Milsami players tried to win this game by any means. It was a tough play with lots of single fights. But we withstood everything they threw at us and came out victorious.
Have you won any other trophies in your career?
This is the first champions’ title in my career. I’m so glad to be a part of this success.
What is the atmosphere in the team now before the game against FC Fastov Zlin in the Europa League?
The atmosphere is good. We are prepared and ready to do our best.
What can you say about players from Zlin?
Our opponents are well-organized. There are some players in FC Zlin who have good individual skills.
The first leg against the Czech team ended in a draw. Do you think in the coming up game we can unseal the opponents’ net?
We want to advance to the Europa League next round a lot. That’s why we have to score and win in the next game. We must do it and I think we will.
What goals are in front of the team playing in the Europa League?
I would like us to make history and go to the next stage in the Europa League with all our efforts.
