- Good evening. I can’t say anything special. We lost this match by ourselves. One shot to the goal mouth, we missed two goals. Our troubles repeated again. At the beginning of the game, mistakes that were in the last two home matches. Made gifts to the opponent. I will not pretend that this is unexpected, but it can’t be played in defense in this way, uncertainly and with mistakes. In the second half, we raised the rhythm of the game, rose higher in lines, changed the game. But, until the end, there was not enough freshness. Nothing more to say.
- You said before the game that AIK is stronger than Saburtalo and Partizani. Today was your opinion confirmed? Would you change something now?
- I repeat. After the game, it’s stupid to say what and how to do it. They would play differently or not. We must play more than 100% from the first minutes, especially at home. We ourselves lost this game. We missed these two goals quickly and it was difficult to play further.
- In the line-up would you change something after this defeat?
- What to change now? We have what we have. The team has a lot of new players, we have very little time to prepare. Today, two central defenders played for the first time together. Of course, I don’t want to make excuses now, I understood when I came that it would not be easy. Now a lot can be changed, but before that you need to think carefully. Maybe I need to be changed.
- How do you comment on such a sharp change in the line-up of the team. You partially talked about this. Is this a strategic mistake?
- We had such a situation and there could be no other solution. The team had only 14 football players and a large number of youth. In such a situation, it is impossible to build a team quickly. It is necessary to give players the opportunity to pass the training camp. Serious work takes time, and only then, having analyzed it, give it an estimate. For the first time in my career I face such situation. The line-up of a lot of players in varying levels of readiness. And we start the game, as if it were a friendly game. Therefore, we slowly enter the game.
