FC Sheriff head coach Zoran Vulic and attacking midfielder Artur Patras shared their comments on the match with FC Kuban Krasnodar.
 
Zoran Vulic, FC Sheriff head coach:
There was a game plan to show good football. I think the team played well today comparing to the previous game against FC Petrocub in Tiraspol. FC Kuban is a strong opponent. We have potential to improve our game.
 
Do you consider your game plan fulfilled by the player?
For me it is the most important that the players are all healthy and have no injuries. The team acted the way we required. Yes, there is no such game that I wanted to see but nothing is done so quickly. I think we will be in the required shape by the start of the championship.
 
The team is having more matches with strong opponents. Is the result important to you in such games?
To me the result in the preparation period is not so essential. We want to win but to me it is more important to see what level my team has every ten minutes of the game. It is better for us to have strong opponents.
 
Artur Patras, FC Sheriff midfielder:
The coach told us to show pressure, play in the air and show our football. We had to dominate during the whole match.
 
Do you think the team could perform that?
I think we could but not completely. The first game while training camps is always very hard. There was much competing. It is great that we won.
 
Did FC Sheriff had a deserved win?
I think we did. There were chances, we scored more but the referees saw it as an offside position.
 
Are you satisfied with your game?
Not fully. You always need to do your best and to improve yourself. I will work more to increase my level.
