Norwegian striker Zlatko Tripic, who recently joined the "yellow-black" camp, told the club's press service where his football career started and his aspirations in the new team.

 

- Zlatko, welcome to FC Sheriff. Share, please, your emotions about a new stage in your football career.

- Thank you, I'm all pleased. For the time that I'm here, I have only positive emotions.

 

- You were born in the Croatian city of Rijeka. How come you became a Norwegian citizen?

"It happened for family reasons." I was still a child when we moved to Norway. I grew up there and I want to say that this is a beautiful country. My family and I really like living there, in general, we are happy, to be there.

 

- What can you say about Norwegian football?

- Norway is a very good place to play football. In this country, football is always in development. There are a lot of teams with young players. For them, there is a great chance to prove themselves and go to play in stronger championships.

 

- We have to play in the playoffs of the Europa League. What are your thoughts on this?

- I look forward to matches in the European League. We have a very important game to play. We must take this step. It is difficult, but we want to play in a group tournament.

 

- FC "Sheriff" always aspires to be the first in the championship of Moldova. Are you ready for this?

- I know that, "Sheriff" is a team of winners, so I moved to this club. I want to win. I will try to do everything in my power to be the first.
