Greek defender Stefanos Evangelou is the new player of FC Sheriff. The player underwent a medical examination and signed an agreement with the club.

 

Stefanos Evangelou was born on May 12, 1998 in the capital of Greece, Athens. The last club of the Greek was the Polish FC Gurnik Zabrze. Stefanos is a graduate of FC Panathinaikos. He began training with the main team in the 2016/17 season. On January 15, 2017 he made his debut in the Greek championship in a duel against AEK. In total, in his debut season, he played seven matches in the starting lineup. In May 2018, he signed a contract with another Greek club - Olympiacos. Then he moved toPAS Giannina, for which he played one game. On October 5, 2020, Stefanos was transferred again from Olympiacos to FC Gornik Zabrze as a free agent.

 

Player of Greece youth national teams of various ages, from Under-16 to Under-21. Took part in the 2015 European Under-17 Championship.
