The Slovenian defender Matej Palcic became the new player of FC Sheriff. The football player underwent medical examination, and the parties came to the agreement to enter the contractual relations since July 1, 2019.

Matej Palcic was born on June 21, 1993 in the city of Koper, where he started to play football and the first professional contract signed with the club of the same name. Also played for the most known Slovenian club – FC Maribor with which won the Championship and the Cup of Slovenia, and the last season spent in in the Polish club Wisła, Kraków having played 12 matches in which scored two goals and gave one assist.

Steadily Matej was call to the national teams of Slovenia of all age: U-18 – 14 matches, U-19 – 12 matches, U-21 – 9 matches (debuted at the age of 19). In 2017 played the first match for the national team of Slovenia in a duel against team of Malta.

FC Sheriff collective is glad to welcome Matej Palcic and wishes him victories, a lot of matches without injuries and many trophies in the yellow-black t-shirt of the club.
