Tunisian national team defender Mahmoud Ghorbel has become a full member of the friendly family at FC Sheriff. The parties have signed an agreement, and the player himself has begun training for the second half of the season with the team.

The 22-year-old native of Sfax began his professional career in his hometown with FC Sfaxien, where he developed as a player in the academy. In 2024, he moved to FC Monastir. The transfer to our club was his first test outside Tunisia.

In November 2024, he made his debut for his country's national team in a match against Gambia, and last year he played in two qualifying matches for the 2026 World Cup against Liberia and Malawi.
