Cameroonian forward Jerome Mbekeli has become another newcomer to FC Sheriff. The player passed a medical examination and signed a personal agreement with the club.

 

A former Belgian Beveren player, Jérôme was born in the capital of Cameroon, Yaounde, on September 30, 1998. In 2018, his foreign career began, in the Czech club Vishkov, from where he moved to the United States, where he played first for Swap Park, and then for Kansas City and San Diego.

 

Last year he made his debut for the national team of his country in a duel with Jamaica (1:1). Participant of the World Cup in Qatar as part of Cameroon, where he entered the field in a duel against Brazil (1:0). From his pass, Abubakar scored the only goal that brought victory to Cameroon. In total, Mbekeli played 10 matches for the national team, scored 1 goal and gave an assist.
