Dutch edge defender Ilounga Pata has joined the ranks of the first team of FC Sheriff. The player joined today the training process under the guidance of Yuriy Gura.

Ilounga was born on the island of Sint Maarten, which is located in the Atlantic Ocean, near Puerto Rico. He received his soccer education in Holland, in the soccer school "Alfense". Last season spent in the club of the second strongest division of the Netherlands, for which he played in 33 matches, giving 4 goal assists.

On March 6, 2022, he made his debut for the national team of Sint Maarten, in a match against the Virgin Islands.  He has 8 games for his country's first national team and one goal scored.
