FC Sheriff management and the Greek goalkeeper Georgios Athanasiadis have signed a labor agreement. After medical examination, Georgios became a full member of the big family of our club. 

 

Georgios Athanasiadis was born on April 7, 1993 in Thessaloniki. The first professional contract was signed in 2012 with the Etnikos club, from where he joined FC Panthrakikos six months later. In 2019 he moved to one of the most famous clubs in his country - AEK Athens. In 2020 he made his debut in the Europa League, in a home match against FC Zorya Lugansk. In 2014, he played for his country's national youth team in a EURO qualifying match against Turkey.
