28-year-old Moldovan goalkeeper Nicolae Chebotari is returning to the first team. The goalkeeper has already started working with his new teammates.

Nicolae spent the last two and a half years at Zimbru in Chisinau. A product of the Chisinau club Dacia Buiucani, he signed his first professional contract with Portuguese club Leiria, where he had been training at the club's academy since 2019. The player's foreign career includes FC Botev Bulgaria and Romanian Farul. In the Moldovan Championship, besides Zimbru, Nikolai Chebotar played for Sfântul Gheorghe and Petrocub.

He has been called up to national teams of all ages, and in March 2024, he made his debut for the national team in a friendly match against the Cayman Islands.
