Vladimir Volkov on performance in FC Sheriff
While our team was having their training session, Serbian Partizan had their test match nearby. FC Sheriff camera crew had to use the chance of talking to the team’s ex-player Vladimir Volkov who plays for Partizan now.
Volkov was transferred to FC Sheriff at the start of the year 2009 and spent two and a half seasons in the team. During that period the Serbian player scored more than 15 goals for FC Sheriff, became twofold champion of Moldova, twofold owner of the cup and the winner of the Commonwealth Cup in 2009. Vladimir Volkov played twice with FC Sheriff in UEFA Europa League, his away goal to GNK Zagreb in 2010 helped our team enter UEFA Champions League play-off round.
