FC Sheriff cyber football player Viktor Rakovskiy won the first LIONS Premier League 2020 trophy. In an interview with the club's press office, Viktor spoke about his victory, the structure of the tournament and his plans in cyber football.

 

- Victor, the championship and the award ceremony are over. We congratulate you. Share your emotions.

- Thank you so much. Unforgettable emotions. This is the first trophy that I received, let's say, in reality. Before that, all tournaments were held remotely, and the awards were also held online. Many thanks to everyone who supported me. Thanks to the management of FC Sheriff and my coaching staff for their trust and support. I also thank my whole family for believing and supporting me.

 

- Tell us about the Championship.

- This is the first Transnistrian Cyber ​​Football Championship, which was created thanks to the Transnistrian Cyberfootball Federation, with the support of the State Sports Service of Transnistria, the Russian Cyber ​​Football Federation, Lions Arena and Pridnestrovian Mini Football League. The championship was held in two circles, twenty participants competed, who represented minifootball clubs and clubs participating in the National Division and Division-A from Transnistria. The games were not easy, all the players played defensively, so they had to show tactical flexibility during the tournament.

 

- And yet, your level is higher, since you achieved the championship ahead of schedule.

- Yes it is, although there were no simple games. All the same, experience in such competitions is of great importance. I would like to highlight the clubs: SKA-Armeets - silver medalist, FC Tighina, Bender and Unisport, Malaesti. These are rivals who have imposed a tough fight on us.

 

- Such a tournament will be held in the future, and will you take part in it?

- I have a desire to participate. We will not look that far. The organizers have promised some changes in terms of fomata-LAN.

 

- Please share with us about this format.

- It is planned to hold games not in the online format. This is when the participants play on the Internet behind their own computers in their own walls. The LAN format assumes a tournament held in one place at the same time. The case when rivals come to the stadium and play against each other in the same room, in front of each other, let's say, behind the same console.

 

- What is the trophy this year?

- This is the third trophy. Before that, I won the American online tournament WRX FIFA Cup 2020. The second trophy is the 14th Parimatch Belarus League 2020.

 

- What are your plans and what trophies are you planning to compete for?

- Now we are preparing for the Russian Championship online. Then there is a short break, and in the fall we will again prepare for the upcoming tournaments.
