Veaceslav Rusnac: “We came here to achieve a positive result”
On the pre-match press-conference of FC “Sheriff” Veaceslav Rusnac officiating the head coach and team captain Miral Samardzic answered to the questions of journalists:
Veaceslav Rusnac:
We came to Tromsø to achieve a positive result. We have been seriously preparing for this game. We think that match against “Tromsø” is a key game in the competition in the group. If we want to continue our performance in Europa League, then we should do our best on the field and we should definitely win. The guys are ready to do that, they have a great desire to win. In such a competition as Europa League each player has an opportunity to show himself.
What do you know about “Tromsø”?
We have enough information on the opponent. I like this team a lot. “Tromsø” is a very organized team which plays in modern football. The players in the composition are good ones. We know that they have changed the coach. Despite the fact that the team plays not very well in the Championship, I think “Tromsø” is a good team.
Concerning the fact that the coach was changed in the opponent’s team, will it be of any use to you?
The coach was replaced a few days ago, so I don’t think there are great changes.
“Sheriff” takes the first place in the Championship of Moldova while “Tromsø” is an outsider of the Championship of Norway. What do you think about that?
There are no weak teams in Europa League. “Tromsø” does not have much luck so far, however tomorrow their supporters will be with them and the guys will play with a great desire.

I agree with our coach. Tomorrow’s game is very important to us. I believe that our team will do its best to win. We know that it is going to be a very hard game.
“Sheriff” takes the first place in the Championship of Moldova while “Tromsø” is an outsider of the Championship of Norway. What do you think about that?
It does not matter what place “Tromsø” takes now. The Championship is one competition and Europa League is absolutely another one where different emotions prevail.
