Before the second leg Sheriff press conference was attended by Veaceslav Rusnac and Kadu:

Good evening. We are glad to see you again, you are all stable. We hope we also will be stable in our squad and in our game. As for the game against Zagreb, probably now it is the most important game of the season and we prepare for it seriously. Tomorrow there will be an important game for us, everybody understands it. We are ready to achieve needed result for us.
Last three games Sheriff didn't win. What is the psychological state of the team? Does this small streak influence the team?
We can't say that this streak is small. Three games for Sheriff is too much and we can't expect good mood. We'll try to change mentality because tomorrow we have to forget everything that has been before. We have to prepare for the next game and it is the most important game for us. If we qualify the next important game will be against Rapid. We have to make conclusions and move forward. After the game against Veris the mood was bad, but today we don't think about it. There has been good progress in training, emotions appeared, footballers understand each other better and it is good.
What should Sheriff change in the game not to repeat the first leg?
First of all we have to calm down and believe in ourselves, believe that we can play good football. Football is all about passing and possession of the ball. If we can achieve positive results in this, everything will be good for us.
Tomorrow you must not concede. How will Sheriff play?
I believe that if the team constantly defends, sooner or later it concedes. But if the team is all in attack there is a danger to concede a counter attack. I think opponents will wait for this, that's why we have to pay equal attention to attack and defense. We have been training all this week, preparing for this game and I hope we can fulfill everything.
Will Jhulliam and Furdui play tomorrow?
Jhulliam is preparing for the game, but Furdui is not registered to participate.
Sheriff signed Tomic, and what about Gheorghiev?
We have 3 goalkeepers. Everybody can show himself in training. Before Tomic signing Stajila had a chance to play. Now we rely on Tomic in such complex games. Gheorghiev is training, we do not have anything wrong to say about him, but he is young and we need experience. However, this doesn't mean that Tomic will play tomorrow.
Kadu:
Good evening. As our head coach said tomorrow game is the most important for us, not only for players, but for everyone who works in the club. As you know, our position in the championship is not very good, but I think we will give maximum to overcome all hardships. We are waiting for the tough game but again, if everyone is commited we will achieve everything.
How do you feel in Sheriff?
Everything is great. I can't say a word about the city because didn't see it due to lack of time - we play and train a lot.
Does the fact that there are a lot of Brazilians influence your adaptation?
Of course. To be honest, Luvannor is here for two years and helps us and we are grateful for him.
In Zagreb Sheriff failed to control the ball. Will anything change tomorrow?
We have to show from the first minute who is the host here. We have to control the ball and this is the most important. If you control the ball - you control the game.
