- I think people liked this game, especially with its intensity. I am grateful to the whole team for their devotion despite that we did not solve any tasks in the standings. The guys played football and I am glad for them. I am sure they have a good future.
 
What was this season like for FC Zimbru?
Any new thing is started with a hope. Despite that we have new squad, there are enough problems, but you still hope for the best. We tried to do the best we could in every game. No football person, and especially non-football one, can blame us. Yes, this is football. Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose but I will say again that we did the best could to achieve a result. The coach’s job is to achieve a result. Unfortunately, we didn’t. There are different reasons but in any case a coach is responsible for the result.
 
Did the situation with the club’s owner become clear?
As far as I understand, it will be solved soon. Something should be solved. What exactly? I don’t know since these questions are on the level of the management. FC Zimbru deserves more than it has now. I hope for the best.
 
You were here many times as FC Sheriff head coach. Didn’t you feel nostalgic?
I am always pleased to come here. I respect all people I had to work with. I think there is no person in FC Sheriff who can accuse me of doing something wrong. I tried to be in good relationship with everyone. I am pleased to communicate with people who work here. FC Sheriff is a very professional club in all aspects. I am pleased to come here and I hope people are pleased to see me.
