FC Sheriff defender Veaceslav Posmac told our correspondent about the team’s win over FC Torpedo Kutaisi and shared with his opinion about Macedonian KF Shkëndija, with which they will have an away game in the second Champions League qualification round on the 24^th of July.

 
- Veaceslav, we congratulate you and your team with the win. Are you satisfied with the yesterday’s game and with its result?
 

-Thank you very much. Of course, we are always happy to win, especially in European Cup. I think our fans liked the match. We do our best first of all for them. We held the initiative and created many scoring chances. In the first half it was possible to score twice, which in many ways liberated the whole team. We had the task to score faster and to play safely in defense. The task was fulfilled. The score of the match is expected, because we surpassed our rivals in the game.

- Nothing disturbs and I feel good. Fatigue accumulated at the end of the game. This is due to the fact that I didn’t play for a long time. The last match I spent with the FC Zaria Balti, so the game practice will allow me to achieve the necessary physical condition faster.

- Are you satisfied with the play in defense?

- We are glad that we didn’t allow our rivals to score. The rival created only one really dangerous moment. In the rest we did not give football players of FC Torpedo to show themselves.
 
- Was there psychological pressure before the match after loss in Georgia?

- We already had to play under the pressure. And we had much stronger rivals. Of course, the pressure took place. At the same time, we understood that FC Sheriff  is stronger. It was enough to show our best football.

- In the second Champions League qualification round you will play with KF Shkëndija. Last season in Europa League they won FC Dacia, where you played for.
 

 - I did not play against KF Shkëndija. Just before the match, I signed an agreement with FC Sheriff. But I know that the Macedonians play strongly if it is a home match. Right after the draw, I became interested in this team. There are a lot of experienced players, for example I have heard about their forward Ferhan Hasani, who also plays for the Macedonia national team.
 

 - In the first play of Macedonians against of FC TNS, the forward Besard Ibraimi scored a quadruple. Does it bother you as a defender?
 

 -To score a quadruple is an excellent result. But our team has highly qualified defenders. We intend to play safely in defense.
