U-21 Moldova national team is outside of the quarterfinal
U-21 Moldova national team played a 0:0 draw for the third time in four days in the Commonwealth Cup.

This time our team played against Latvia. Both goals were scored in the second half. On 49th minute the Latvian team went forward, and eight minutes before the end of the regulation time Moldova balanced the scoring.

In the starting eleven Artiom Razgonyuk, Dmitri Semirov and Valery Makritsky took the field.  On 54th minute Razgonyuk was substituted, and in six minutes Vadim Pairelli substituted Semirov.

It should be mentioned that in the first round Moldova U-21 played a 1:1 draw with Kyrgyzstan, yesterday Igor Ursaki’s team played a 2:2 draw with Russia.

Three draws left good chances for our team to enter the quarterfinal of the tournament. However in the last round Russia unexpectedly conceded to Kyrgyzstan which allowed the Kyrgyz team take the second place in the group leaving Moldova on the third place.

U-21 Moldova national team should fight for the ninth or tenth place in the tournament.
