The Moldova U-19 national team will play two friendly matches with their peers from Azerbaijan. The first meeting will take place on June 4 in Orhei, the second in Chisinau on June 6.

 

Sergei Seku, the team's coach, called 6 players of the Sheriff Academy to the games.

Goalkeepers: Andrey Filipov and Sergey Savochka.

Defenders: Roman Skurtul and Adrian Hatman.

Midfielder: Pavel Kucheryavenko.

Forward: Dmitry Pogreban.

 

The friendly matches with Azerbaijan are a preparatory stage in the preparation of the Moldova Under-19 team for the qualifying games of the European Championship 2022. The national team will play in the 4th group with the Netherlands, Israel and Cyprus.
