U-19 national team of Moldova had their first match in the qualifying mini-tournament that takes place in Serbia. Veaceslav Rusnac's team lost by the score 0-2 by the end of the match.

Both players of Sheriff Academy took the field. Ivan Voropai was in the starting eleven and played the whole match, Vsevolod Nihaev was fielded on 87th minute. It should be noted that the game was a bit rough. The referee awarded 4 yellow cards to the host team and 2 yellow cards to Moldovan team.
