Moldavian classico, a match out of time and circumstances will take place in Tiraspol tomorrow. The most titled clubs of the National Division will meet again to continue an perennial dispute.

Lately, the Chisinau club got through several difficult periods. The last from them was in last off-season. Suddenly, the team found itself at the edge of disappearance. Since Zimbru lived the long, crossed 70 years history.

The team was saved. At the same time it was necessary to change considerably the squad. But also in this situation nobody cancelled rivalry between FC Sheriff and Zimbru. These are the longest relations between clubs of the Moldavian Championship. It contains 72 matches only in the National Division. 44 victories were won by our club, 16 matches ended in a draw and in 12 cases the victory was won by rivals. A difference of balls – 107:48.

In the first round team finished their duels with the identical score 1:0. Sheriff beat Speranta, Zimbr lost home to Petrocub.
