Today FC Sheriff was played against FC Tiraspol in an away match. Sheriff in the beginning had two not so bad opportunities by Pesic and Luvannor. Both missed the net. In the middle of the first half Sheriff conceded after Stajila left the goal – Popovic was precise from rather long distance. In several minutes danger emerged again when the free kick in our penalty area was awarded, but the danger was cleared. In the end of the first half Pascenco had a good shot, but the ball went wide.
In the second half Sheriff looked sharper – again Pascenco scored, and then Krol. In the first time the ball went above the goal, and in the second ended in Georgiev’s arms. The most dangerous moment was the header, with which Georgiev coped not so easily. Approximately in the end of the second half Pesic managed to score an equalizer. Marianovic produced a dangerous shot that hit the post and the ball came to Pesic, who made the second shot. The Tiraspol player wanted to clear the ball, but it still ended in the net. It seemed there would be a draw, but Cheptine, who came in on substitution managed to bring the victory to the hosts. He received the ball, entered the penalty area and sent the ball into the net. The match ended with the score 2-1 and therefore the distance from Dacia is now 9 points.
