The soccer season is taking a break for international fixtures, and several players from FC Sheriff have been called up to their countries’ national and youth teams.

Emil Timbur and Danila Forov have joined the Moldovan national team for friendly matches against Lithuania and Cyprus. The team will play two friendlies as part of their preparation for official tournaments.

Forward Konan Loukou has been called up to the Ivory Coast U-23 national team, which will play two friendly matches against Morocco.

Natus Sven has received an invitation to the Liberian national team. His team will play two friendly matches against the national teams of Mauritania and Libya.

Mikhail Korotkov has also been called up to Moldova’s U-19 national team. The team will face qualifying matches for the 2026/2027 European Championship, where their opponents will be the national teams of the Netherlands, the Faroe Islands, and North Macedonia.
