Last year, also in Belek, FC Sheriff played with Minsk Dinamo, the vice-champion of the country of that time. A year passed, and we are resisted by the vice-champion of Belarus again. This time it is FC Shakhtyor Soligorsk.

If to look at history of performances in the country, then we replace a syntagma "the best achievement" with "the worst achievement" in the Championship. Exactly this way, because for the last 20 years Shakhtyor - one of leaders in Belarus. This worst place is dated 2009. Then the Soligorsk club took the 6^th place.

Shakhtyor won the only champion title in 2005. After that only BATE took the first place.

The frequent participant of Euro cups, Shakhtyor played with the Moldavian teams twice. At first with Nistru, Otaci (1:2 and 1:1), then with Milsami, Orhei (lost on penalty after two matches which ended with the score 1:1).

The team of Sergei Tashuyev played the last test match at the Turkish training camp with Finnish KuPS and won 1:0.

The match Sheriff - Shakhtyor will be held on the field of Susesi Sport Centre today and will start at 17:30 local time (16.30 in Tiraspol).
