Today finished the second stage of the “August Cup Sheriff 2019”. Competed teams born in 2006 and 2007. Two teams of the Sheriff Academy took third places in the tournament in their age categories.

 

Players of FC “Sheriff” U-12 (coach Anton Dumanov) took second place in their group, gaining 8 points. In the butt games, our guys defeated FC “Toro” Straseni (1: 0) for the third place. Another team born in 2007 fought in the fields of SC "Sheriff". Young football players did not enter the top three winners, but looked decent, playing with teams one year older - born in 2006. In this age category, the first place was taken by Odessa Youth Sports School 11, the second - also by the Ukrainian FC Chernomorets.

 

In the category of 2006 year of birth, our team was not enough to fight in the final with the Moscow Spartak. In the butt games, the wards of Aleksandr Zeleniuk lost to FC DYUSSH Buyukany only on a penalty - 4: 3, the score in regular time - 2: 2. For the third place, our team fought with the Odessa Athletic. In the main time, the score was 1: 1, but the penalty was “yellow-black” - 4: 3. The first place in this category was taken by Spartak-2, the second - by FC DYUSSH Buyukany.

 

Next week, the third stage of the “August Cup Sheriff 2019” starts - age categories born in 2008 and 2009.
