The second minus 3
The national team of Moldova U-19 suffered a second defeat today in the match of the qualifying cycle of the European Championship 2024. The Georgian team defeated the Tricolors with a score of 2:1. The striker of FC Sheriff - Dan Boțan scored the ball in the 35th minute of the meeting.

The coach of the team, Andrei Corneencov, also provided playing time to the pupils of the FC Sheriff Academy. Serghei Obîscalov, Stanislav Grișcuc and Vadim Dijinari played the entire match. Vladislav Iațco was removed from the field already in compensated time. The author of the goal scored, Dan Boțan, was replaced on 88 minutes, Denis Pleșca on 73, Denis Gushpit on 83. Nichita Sandețski got 27 minutes of the second half. Vitali Guțu remained in reserve.

Moldova will play its next match on November 21 against the Cyprus national team. The game is scheduled for 13:00.
