The official statement of FC Sheriff
Recently, cases of the appearance in various media, Internet resources, presenting themselves as an original source, as well as in social networks, all kinds of information that is not true and negatively affect the reputation of our club among fans have become more frequent.
In particular, the appearance of news about the arrival to the base of our club of the African goalkeeper is an absolute lie. We regard this news as an attempt to influence public opinion from a negative point of view. This is not the first time when a resource that considers itself the best in Moldova (we are talking about the online edition of moldfootball.com) provides the public with an outright lie. At the same time, this resource, and other media, acting at least unprofessionally, does not even try to double-check the information at the club’s press office, they recast the official news in their own way, distorting the essence of the club’s official information.
Also, recently various groups have appeared on social networks that illegally use without permission, the symbols of our club, information, video and photo content, which is patented and is an integral part of FC Sheriff property.
The fact that such dirt appears more and more often only means that these characters are far from the desire to develop Moldavian football, and only pursue goals that are not clear to us. From our part, we reserve the right to protect the image of the club by all legal means provided to us by law.
FC Sheriff remains open to all mass media, which, at least, value their reputation. We urge everyone who is interested in promoting and creating a worthy image of Moldavian football to use official sources, not fake news and pseudo publications.
Congratulations to all on the near start of the new football season.
