The first stage of the “August Cup Sheriff 2019” tournament has ended. FC Sheriff 2004, coach Vitali Tarasenko, took first place. Our trainees won all the matches in the group, gaining 18 points. On the way to the final, FC Dacia-Buiucani (7: 0) was beaten, but in the final on a penalty kick FC Voluntarii.

The Sheriff team born in 2005, coach Denis Laptev, took 7th place. In group “B” there was a fierce struggle, our trainees took third place, by the way, three teams scored the same number of points. For the 5th-8th place, our trainees lost on a penalty kick to FC Dinamo Chisinau, but for the 7th place they beat the players of the Odessa Sporting (3: 1).
