The championship of reserves is over. The last, 28th tour took place today. The youth team of FC Sheriff won (3: 1)  the reserves of SC Petrocub. The game was made in the first half. Our trainees played with a major advantage, which was realized in the double of Ivan Danilov and in the scored goal of Alexander Gradinar.

 

In the second half, Shota Makharadze made a number of substitutions. The game also went under the dictation of the home team, but there were no more goals scored by the “yellow-blacks”. The guests could only score the “consolation goal” - the goal scored is on the account of Alexander Vlas.

 

The reserves championship was won by the trainees ahead of schedule and with a big advantage in points. The wards of Shota Makharadze and Andrei Сorneenсov won 25 victories, with two draws and only one defeat. 116 goals were scored, and 15 were missed. Our forward Ivan Ciumacenco became the best forward (23 goals), Evgheni Gliga and Vladimir Kovchenko scored 14 each.

 

But the season for the players of the Sheriff Academy has not yet ended. We still have to play the second game of the UEFA Youth League against the Norwegian FC Sogndal on November 27, away, in Norway. The first match ended with our victory - 2-0.
