First changes in the first team. At the end of December employment agreement ends between FC Sheriff and Ivorian defender Marcel Metoua. The parties have come to an agreement not to extend the contract.

Marcel Metoua joined FC Sheriff in the summer 2011. He played 161 matches and scored 11 goals. Metoua is fourfold champion of Moldova, the owner of the Cup and threefold owner of the Super Cup of Moldova.

The management and employess of FC Sheriff say thank you to Marcel for his work well done while his five year stay in our club and wish him success in his future football career.
