Test under loadings
FC Sheriff played the first test match at the training camp in the Turkish town of Belek. A former club of Goran Sablic, Bosnian Široki Brijeg, was the rival of our team.
The coaching staff of our club nominated two different squads, each played one half of the game. Let's not forget that players are under loadings, only a week passed since the beginning of the camp. In the first half teams exchanged goals. Both Bosnians and our team scored after a pass from the corner. Goal of the FC Sheriff is on the account of Yury Kendysh, who closed the pass of Antun Palic.
In the second half the situation had to repeat. However, having awarded a penalty in our goal, the Turkish referee left unaddressed obvious offence in the penalty area of Bosnians. As a result - defeat 1:2 which does not give a reason to make any conclusions.
FC Sheriff will play the next match with Ukrainian Olimpik from Donetsk. The match is planned for February 7.
