Team looked forward to the draw
Players of FC Sheriff watched the draw of the first qualifying round of the Champions League and passed an opinion on results, considering also experience of last year when played against FC Torpedo of Kutaisi:
Veaceslav Posmac: "Looked forward to today's draw. Saburtalo for the first time participates in the Champions League and they have what to prove. In group there were more dangerous rivals, but if the Georgian collective achieved the right to represent the country in the tournament, so we should not underestimate them. The last year's match with Torpedo of Kutaisi reminded us that in Georgia technical players play. It is necessary to approach orderly games with such teams. They use mistakes of rivals rather well".
Antun Palic: "I think, the forthcoming rival especially does not differ from Torpedo of Kutaisi, they prefer to play fast and technical football. All teams which we could get have high quality of game. Therefore it is important how well we will be prepared for these games".
Yury Kendysh: "Good result of the draw. We respect any rival and we prepare for difficult oppositions".
