The second team of FC Sheriff won a strong-willed victory over the players of Granicherul (3: 1) in the 23rd tour of Division-A.

 

The guests played to zero in defense for the entire first half and scored only from a standard position through the efforts of Sergei Orlov. There was pressure from our players and several dangerous shots, in particular, from Evheni Gliga.

 

The second half of the game began with substitutions from Shota Makharadze, whose wards began a massive siege of the Granicherul goal. On the 57th minute, Evgheni Gliga equalized the score, demonstrating his attacking skills of the game. The wards of Mikola Lutsenko did their best to keep the draw, but in the last minutes of the meeting they broke the rules of the game in their own penalty area. Alizade Karmanov converted a penalty kick and brought our team forward. Already in stoppage time, the third goal was scored. Nikita Koval broke through the last line of defense of the vis-a-vis and gave a pass to the empty net to Arthur Untura - he could only not miss - 3: 1.

 

Until the end of the Championship there are three matches left to play: two away games in Ceadir-Lunga with the teams Olympus and Sukleya. In the last tour on May 25 we will host Cahul-2005 at home.
