In the second half, we attacked more, put pressure on the opponent, created chances, but, unfortunately, did not score. We will prepare for the second game with the hope that we will be able to advance to the Champions League further.

 

- And how do you like goalkeeper Razak Abalora?

 - In football, unfortunately, it happens. If one player does not make a mistake, then the other does.

 

- Would you agree that out of five games of the current Champions League, today FC Sheriff showed the best performance?

- I agree, but, unfortunately, this progress has not brought results. There is still a second leg and we will fight for ultimate success until the last opportunity.

 

- Why didn't Momo Yansane play today?

- He has good offers and I think that in two or three days he will leave the team.

 

- Where are the offers from?

- Offers from clubs from Turkey and Russia.

 

- It seemed that today your players lost quite a lot of power combats. Don't you think that because of this you lost control of the ball?

- You know, it's not just about martial arts. They scored the ball - it was not necessary to miss. If the score had remained 1-0 after the first half, the game could have turned out completely differently.

 

- Do you believe that it is possible to turn the tide and, based on the results of two matches, reach the playoff stage of the Champions League?

- The team performed well. There were fast attacks, but we didn't score. We looked better than in the matches against Zrinjski and Maribor. Now we need to calmly analyze everything and prepare well for the second game. I believe that we can win.

 

- But after all and contenders do not stand still. Will you improve and they will play better and get the opportunity to beat you again?

- Viktoria is an experienced and strong opponent. There are even players in the squad who are over 30. We have young players who still have to grow and grow. But we do not give up and will fight with the Czech team until the last minute of the second match.
