Bosnian defender of FC Sheriff, Stjepan Radeljic, who started his career at HFC Zrinjski, commented on the draw for the first qualifying round of the Champions League.

 

- Stjepan, what can you say about the results of the draw?

- In general, everything went well for us, I am very happy that we got Zrinjski. For me it will be a special game.

 

- Your way of becoming a football player was in the youth teams of FC Zrinjski Mostar. How did you take the news about the opponent and what does it mean for you to come to Mostar again?

- Yes, I played for two years in Zrinjski, I can't wait for the upcoming games, they will certainly be very emotional for me. I am a professional, be sure I will do my best for the victory of FC Sheriff. I hope and believe that our team will qualify for the next round of the tournament.

 

- What do we need to know and how to prepare for the Champion of Bosnia and Herzegovina last season?

- It will be very difficult to play against them, they have very good players and, of course, a coach. They play aggressive football and like to press from the very beginning. I think we should be 100% ready. That's the only way we can win.

 

- What is the atmosphere in the team now, what are the anticipations for the upcoming season?

- The atmosphere in the team is good, we train and prepare for these games. We hope that everyone will be healthy, without injuries on the eve of important matches.
