The U-19 team of FC Sheriff set off on a long journey today. The team of Andrey Korneenkov needs to get to Shymkent, the venue for the opening match of the new European season. This will be the 10th edition of the UEFA Youth League.

 

In Shymkent, young students of the Sheriff Football Academy will play with the Champion of Kazakhstan FC Turan. The first game will start at 13:00 Tiraspol time. The return match will take place on October 25 at the Small Arena of SC Sheriff with the starting whistle at 15:00.

 

The winner of our pair will play in the second round with the best team in the confrontation between FC Universitata Craiova (Romania) and FC Partizan Serbia.
