The period of preliminary games for the Championship of Europe 2017 starts among U-21 national teams.
 
Vadim Pairelli, Valery Makritsky, Artiom Razgonyuk, Dmitri Semirov, Eugene Rebenzha are called up to the U-21 national team of Moldova starting to play on March 30 in the first preliminary group. It will be an away match against Belgium.
 
Besides Moldova and Belgium, there are also national teams of Czech Republic, Montenegro, Latvia and Malta in one group.
