Shota Makharadze, the coach of FC Sheriff reserves, shared with the club press office his opinion on the resumption of Division-A and on the first tour of his wards against FC Iskra Ribnita.

 

- The championship has started, the first tour took place today. Are you glad for this event?

- Of course, we are all happy that after such an unpleasant pause, everything has finally begun. Many thanks to everyone who tried to resume the work of this league. It is very important that we managed to start the Championship.

 

- What can you say about the game?

- First of all, the emotions in the game were pronounced and in some moments even went off scale. It can be seen that we are not yet one hundred percent ready for the first game. This is logical, after such a pause it is necessary to get in condition. The functional state is striking, this is still difficult.

 

- What influenced such a minimum score in the game - the opponent did not allow to play or the players' condition?

 - As for the opponent, my opinion is that there are no inconvenient opponents, there are only good teams. A good opponent with an organized game played with us today. It was especially difficult for us in the second half.

 

- A lot of newcomers and younger players played in the first tour. Who would you like to highlight?

- It is too early to single out someone. The whole team tried hard and today thanks to this we achieved victory and earned three points.

 

- Next game is away against FC Balti. What do you know about your opponent?

- We know that a nice team was formed there and it won't be easy. We need to play with everyone and be respectful. The main thing is that the Championship has begun and we have interesting games ahead.
