Today the draw for the playoffs of the UEFA Youth League took place, as a result of which Sheriff U-19 team learnt its counterpart. So, in the confrontation consisting of one match, we have to meet with FK Crvena Zvezda U-19.

 

Head coach of the Academy and Sheriff U-19 team Shota Makharadze gave a short comment on the results of the draw:

 

“At this stage, all the clubs are strong, and in principle we did not dream about any particular team. The fact that the Serbs reached the playoffs, competing with Bayern and Tottenham, says a lot. They have a strong academy that competes in Europe with the academies of the football clubs such as Barcelona and Ajax. We do not get away from our philosophy and principles of the game. We plan to prepare seriously and realize our strengths on the football field. Now we are not focused on about-football conversations about rivals. Less words, more work. ”
