Sheriff - Speranta (15.03.13)
Today Sheriff in the 23rd round of the Championship of Moldova in the National Division played at home in the Indoor Arena against Speranta. The game was very tough. Sheriff began with attacks, but acted not as sharp as it was expected. The first goal was scored by Luvannor Henrique, who used the pass from Balima and sent the ball into the far corner. A little later the second goal for Sheriff scored the Serbian forward - newcomer Marko Markovski. The goal was similar a lot with the first one - the assist was from Balima again, and the difference was that Marko sent the ball to the different corner. The two goal advantage was not held for a long time - Haceaturov, according to the referee, fouled in our penalty area, got the booking for talk and Speranta got the right for the penalty. Cricimari was precise from the spot. In the second half there have been a lot of battle on the pitch. Speranta didn't want to lose and desperately struggled for every ball, trying to score the equalizer, but in the end the score was the same - 2-1 in Sheriff's favor. Despite the victory and another three points we cannot say that for our team the match was easy - everybody could feel the lassitude of our footballers and the fact that for this game our players came in not the best physical conditions. The next game Sheriff will play against Dacia on the 31st of March and it can become decisive for the clash for the championship title.
