On the Small arena of Sheriff sports complex there was a match of the 30th match day of the Moldavian football championship in National Division. Sheriff played against Olimpia. The hosts were much more dangerous from the very beginning and on the 14th minute managed to take the lead due to a good shot from Stanojevic, who received a pass from Balima. It was not the first episode for Sheriff - there have been a dangerous shot from Markovski, who produced a good header, but the ball stroke the cross bar. Again Markovski could score after Sheriff took a lead - he made a good shot when the goalkeeper was well out of the game, but the score was not increased because of the good play of Olimpia defender, who prevented the ball from going into the net. In the next episode Pesic had a dangerous shot, but he failed to find the net. The first half ended 1-0 in Sheriff favor.

In the beginning of the second half Markovski had a good opportunity - he was the first on the ball and produced a good header, but right in the hands of the goalkeeper. In ten minutes after the beginning of the second half the score became 2-0 - Pesic played good, having overcome the defender and sent the ball right into the net. Immediately after the second goal the score could increase again - Lisa delivered a good cross and Gheorghiev made a great header right under the cross bar, but in this episode Kolibaba played extremely well and parried the shot. A little later the same Gheorghiev created another opportunity, having penetrated the penalty box from the right side and having made a good shot into the far corner, but just missed the net. In the end of the game Lisa scored a goal from a free kick and set the final score. 3-0 in Sheriff favor, and the next match can be decisive in the battle for the championship.
