Today in the quarterfinals of Cup of Moldova Sheriff played against Nistru. It was a great match for our team, that managed to score 7 times. Nistru defended not bad until the first conceded goal, and this happened on the 30th minute, when Markovski increased the number of his goals for Sheriff. He got the ball in the penalty box, moved correctly and sent the ball into the net. In three minutes he was able to make a brace, when he produced an instant shot as a result of good delivery from the flank. In the next attack Luvannor managed to score - he had a great match by the way. He received the ball, managed to overcome his opponents with great speed and sent the ball into the net. There have been another goal in the first half - Gheorghiev scored.

In the second half Sheriff increased the lead. Markovski made his hat-trick, due to the great play of Luvannor, who happened with the ball in the penalty box and seemed to be able to decide the opportunity for himself, but was not greedy and gave the ball to Markovski to score his third goal in the game. The sixth goal was scored by Marianovic who just entered in as a substitution. We have to note great play from Balima, who came with the ball from the right flank, entered the penalty area and pushed the ball backwards for Marianovic, who was precise. And right before the final whistle Pesic who substituted Markovski earlier, could score. There was a good pass to him and he managed to overcome several Nistru players. The rest is pure technique. 7-0 is a good victory and we congratulate our fans on it.
