Today on the Main Arena there took place the second leg of the third qualifying round of the UEFA Champions League, where Sheriff met Dinamo Zagreb.
 
The first game in Zagreb finished with the minimal win of Croatian team and this was the reason why Sheriff began attacking instantly. Good chances had Luvannor and Stanojevic but in the first case the shot was not too powerful and in the second the ball went a little wide. Visitors, however, didn't have the intention to defend and began attacking and succeeded soon. On the 10th minute Junior Fernandes scored with a shot from beyond the penalty box and the ball hit both posts and entered the goal. Sheriff had to score three times. Even more, Sheriff had to substitute Stanojevic, who got injury. On the 27th minute Dinamo increased the lead, scoring from within the penalty box. Our side had chances as well - Pascenco tried a long range shot but missed the net. Kadu's shot wasn't precise as well. 
 
The second half began with good opportunity for Sheriff. Kadu made a shot from the 25 meters and goalkeeper parried it not without difficulties. In some minutes Ricardinho made a pass to Jhulliam who just wasn't in time for the ball to send it into the net. Soon Dinamo scored the third goal. Duje Cop was the scorer and he could score once again in several minutes but Tomic saved the net. The most real chance was lost by Luvannor - he went one on one but missed the net from close distance.

Sheriff lost 0-3 and will continue to play in UEFA Europa League from now on.
